The preisdent of the Republic of Cameroon ,Paul Biya who left his country at the peak of socio-political crisis in September 2017 for Geneva where he spent close to a week before heading to the New York -USA to attend 72th General assembly of the United Nations has finally returned to Yaounde this Saturday, October 21, 2017.
Alafnet.com notes that Mr Biya and his deligation landed around 4pm local time at the Nsimalen International Airport located in the outskirt of Yaounde onboard a Boeing B777 registered VPCAL owned by Aviation Link Company based in Saudi Arabia. (Aviation Link Company is specialized in renting VIP aircraft).
As usual, at the Yaounde Nsimalen International Airport, president Paul Biya was greeted on arrival by senior state officials.Paul Biya returned to the presidentaial palace Etoudi 35 days after leaving the Nations capital .
He was returning from the UN 72nd UN General Assembly in the United States,after which Paul Biya travelled to Switzerland in Europe for private visit that lasted about three weeks.
Today, some Cameroonians had planned a massive demonstration at the intercontinental hotel in Geneva where he lodged to conside with solidarity march in Douala for the two English speaking regions by the litoral regional SDF.

In Douala, there were numerous arrests of members of the SDF who had a planned demonstration to support the two English regions .
