Cameroon to jail a driver for filming Biya’s M’vomeka residence

Alafnet.com is getting reports from Ebolowa that a driver arrested filming president Biya’s M’vomeka residence could be sent to jail.

Ndjoumo Valentin has been handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office of Sangmelima ,south region for filming Biya’s M’vomeka residence of president Paul Biya.

 

The independent driver had accompanied the NGO Vie et Santé du Center (VISACE) in an official  Health campaign targeting  children from zero to 15 years old and the old ,in the district of Meyomessala.

He was reportedly arrested and arrested by the Presidential Guard for photographing the residence of the Head of State in M’vomeka on 10 December 2017.
He could appear at the Military Court of Ebolowa for filming the residence of the head of state in M’vomeka in the Meyomessala district.

This incident occurred when the others Members of the NGO delegation were meeting with the Chief Medical Officer of Meyomessala Health District .

After a few days in custody at the gendarmerie brigade of Meyomessala for investigation, the latter has finally been referred to the prosecutor’s office and the courts of Sangmelima.

If the Sangmelima public prosecutor declares it is incompetent to handle the case, Ndjoumo Valentin could be  sent to the Military Court of Ebolowa.
